Die Militarisierung der Gesellschaft und was sie uns kostetMitte März haben Bundestag und Bundesrat das Grundgesetz geändert, um ungezügelt Kredite für Rüstungsprojekte aufnehmen zu können – und dies war nur die letzte durchgepeitschte Höhe dieser Entwicklung,die das Land „kriegstüchtig“ machen soll, wie es der ehemalige Verteidigungsminister Boris Pistorius forderte. 100 Milliarden Sondervermögen für Verteidigungsausgaben kamen zuvor, das neue 5% Ziel der NATO und allerlei sprachliche Scharfmacherei: „Frieren für den Frieden“ ist das „Kanonen statt Butter“ des 21. Jahrhunderts.Denn neben den unendlichen Summen die nun in Krieg und Militär gesteckt werden, bald 50% des Staatshaushalts ausmachen sollen (5% des BIPs) und somit zum Kahlschlag bei andere Haushaltsposten wie Sozialausgaben führen, müssen auch die Menschen im Land überzeugt werden, dass es sich lohnt die Heizung zwei Stufen runter zu drehen, das Brot trocken zu essen und beim Arzt nur noch schnell abgearbeitet zu werden – weil der Russe ja angeblich schon fast vor Berlin stünde.Zusätzlich muss ja auch noch das Kanonenfutter motiviert – oder gezwungen – werden und wenn moralische Bedenken beiWissenschaftlerInnen und Zivilklauseln nicht im Weg stünden, kann der wehrtechnische Fortschritt gegenüber Russland auch noch ausgebaut werden.Sowohl über die trockenen Zahlen mit bitterem Abgang, wie auch über kriegstüchtige Sozial- und Kulturpolitik wird der Referent Pablo von der Informationsstelle Militarisierung e.V. berichten.
