Liebe Nachbar:innen,
vom 26. bis zum 31. August protestieren wir, das Bündnis „Rheinmetall Entwaffnen“, gegen Krieg und Militarismus. Aus diesem Grund werden wir im inneren Grüngürtel von Köln ein Protestcamp errichten, wo wir Themen wie Krieg, Waffenproduktion und Alternativen für ein friedliches Zusammenleben diskutieren werden. Es wird verschiedene Veranstaltungen, Diskussionen und Aktivitäten geben.
Waffen aus Deutschland töten Menschen auf der ganzen Welt aus Profit- und Machtinteressen. Deshalb lehnen wir Kapitalismus und Kriege klar ab und verurteilen, dass immer mehr Geld in Waffen und das Militär gesteckt wird, statt in Gesundheit, Bildung und soziale Dienste.
Wir laden euch ein, jederzeit im Camp vorbeizuschauen, um uns kennenzulernen und an den Aktivitäten teilzunehmen.
Wir freuen uns besonders darauf, Sie am Dienstag, den 26. August, um 16 Uhr im Nachbarschaftscafé im Camp am „inneren Grüngürtel“ von Köln (am Fuße des Colonius-Fernsehturms und in der Nähe des Bahnhofs Hans-Böckler-Platz/Köln-West) begrüßen zu dürfen.
Der offizielle Name unseres Standorts lautet „Wiese am Fernsehturm/Colonius, Venloerstr. 130“; die Koordinaten sind: 50.94505° N, 6.93171° E.), wo wir uns vorstellen
und bei Kaffee und Kuchen ins Gespräch kommen können.

Dear neighbors,
From August 26 to the 31st, we, the “Rheinmetall Entwaffnen” alliance, will be protesting against war and militarism. For this reason, we have set up a protest camp at the „inner green belt“ of colgne, where we will discuss topics such as war, arms production, and alternatives for peaceful coexistence. There will be various events, discussions, and activities.
Weapons from Germany kill people around the world for profit and power interests. That is why we clearly oppose capitalism and wars and condemn the fact that more and more money is being poured into weapons and the military instead of health, education, and social services.
We invite you to stop by the camp at any time to get to know us and participate in the activities.
We are especially looking forward to welcoming you on Tuesday, August 26th, at 4 p.m. at the neighborhood café at the camp at the „inner green belt“ of colgne (inner green belt (at the foot of the Colonius television tower and near the Hans-Böckler-Platz/Köln-West train station.
